Polyester Clear Casting Resin Instructions:

1. Set your mold or cast on a level surface, allowing for air movement as this product does produce heat when curing.
2. Mix MEK-P Catalyst at 1.5%-2% by volume, thoroughly stirring with a stir stick, ensuring you don’t add air bubbles into the mix. Mix thoroughly like you are stirring coffee or tea for 3 minutes and then quickly get the resin out of the mixing cup and into your project. This product will kick off quickly, especially in mass.
3. Once poured, you can make several quick passes with a heat gun to remove any surface bubbles.
4. Product will gel with 1.5% MEK-P in around 20-25 minutes at 77 degrees, with warmer temperatures meaning less working time.
5. The product should be hard and tacky in around 2 hours, with demolding available in around 12 hours. Catalyst Chart
