The Superbond 2600 Slow Cure Activator is a key component of the Superbond Laminating Epoxy System, specifically formulated to provide a controlled, even cure in mild to warm temperatures.
It’s designed to prevent the epoxy from curing too quickly, ensuring you have sufficient working time for your projects.
The Superbond Laminating Epoxy 2600 Slow Activator is a versatile solution that provides professionals and DIY enthusiasts with the control needed for precise, high-quality work in warmer conditions, ensuring your projects achieve the desired outcome without the rush.
The ideal working temperature is around 77°F.
Best results can be obtained at temperatures between 70°F and 85°F, in a clean, dry, dust-free environment.
Measure product in accordance to the B-sides associated mix ratio:
The material must be mixed thoroughly for at least 3 minutes.
Use a drill mixer or a stir stick to thoroughly scrape the sides and bottom of the cup as you mix.
Apply the material liberally by pouring, then work the epoxy into fiberglass with a paintbrush or roller.
Gel Time at 77°F is around 20 to 25 mins at room temperature in a 1/2 pound mass (0.5 pt)
Tools can be cleaned with Acetone, Denatured Alcohol, or Isopropyl Alcohol.
Use small bucket of solvent to clean tools.
Immediate clean up will provide the best results.
