Meguiar’s Medium Cut Cleaner M0116 is a medium/moderate cutting, low swirl compound formulated with body shop professionals in mind to removing moderate defects like scratches, acid rain, severe swirls and holograms, and up to 1200-2000 grit sanding marks. Medium Cut Compound has been in high solids production shops and it powers through defects while being a low-dusting, low splatter, and body shop safe formula. This pro-grade auto body compound is safe and effective on all glossy paints including aftermarket, OEM, clear coats, lacquers, and enamels. Formulated specifically for use with a rotary buffer and is available in 1 pint size containers.

After removing the moderate paint defects with Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze Medium Cut Cleaner M0116, you typically need to follow with a polishing compound and pad, like Meguiar’s Dual Action Cleaner/Polish.
Step 1:
Shake the product well.
Step 2:
For use with a rotary buffer.
Step3:
Make sure the surface you are working with is cool to the touch. This product should not be used on warm or hot surfaces.
Step 4:
Set the rotary buffer to between 1000-1500 RPM’s and work one section at a time.
Step 5:
When working on uncured paint, apply the compound directly to the buffing pad.
Step 6:
Begin working on a 2” x 2” area with overlapping passes, and continue to work the buffer until a light film remains on your surface.
Step 7:
Wipe off the residue before the product dries with a fresh, clean microfiber towel.
